Business Card Theory
Crafting a good business card is an art.
First impressions matter, and a business card is no different.
Are you a no-nonsense tradesman or an eccentric jack of all trades?
A business card is an extension of your brand.

My approach is to balance beauty and simplicity while still delivering the core utility of a business card — who am I, what do I do, and how you can contact me.
Here's some templates, questions to ask yourself, and examples of what I've done in the past.
- Illustrator Template
- SVG Template
- Do you want to give people your personal number?
- What is the big idea you want to convey?
- Choosing a single title for your role is quite difficult — would it be worth it to invent your own?

Btw, it helps if you have an eccentric photographer friend to take cool photos of you.

General Advice
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. I went through many iterations of my most recent card, and even still I'm going to rework it soon. My best tip is to ask your friends and family for feedback — especially if you like to step outside of the box. Can they easily understand what you do? Can they easily contact you?
